What really causes fear of driving?

Constant panic attacks have been known to cause driving fear. There are people who have driving fear because of irrational panic attacks. This problem is starts abruptly and may worsen in the long run. Psychologists propose that there is an underlying fear in a person that causes these panic attacks. Driving fear then replaces the underlying fear and victims are not able to differentiate between the two.
Victims who experience driving fear are normally dysfunctional due to constant panic attacks. They may fail to attend social ceremonies or even going shopping because they cannot use an automobile. Constant panic attacks and anxiety can be treated by short therapy. However complex irrational panic attacks or anxieties are treated over a longer period of time. This is because treating complex anxieties requires time. There are also prescribed medicines such as SSRI that produces a hormone known as serotonin which creates a feeling of calm in the body.
