I wonder some times if we are better off turning off or televisions and phones. I often contemplate taking a break from the modern world we live in hear in the United States. We are so caught up in material possessions and living life so fast. We act like a 50in flat screen tv along with 200 hd cable channels is a necessity. If we canâ??t check our email on our phones every 5 minutes we feel disconnected. Sometimes I wish I just lived on Jupiter. You may laugh but Iâ??m serious. Some times I just get so tired of everyone getting caught up in whatâ??s not important. What frustrates me even more is that I am just as guilty as anyone else. I think that I am going to make some serious New Years resolutions this year. As helpful as technology is I am also finding it is sucking the joy out of my life.
