How to Save Money on Your Wedding

Despite what you may view on TV and read in magazines, many people have quite limited wedding budgets. The celebrity culture splashes pictures of lavish weddings all around us, but that’s not how most people get married. For most engaged couples, if money can be
conserved on any part of their weddings, it can be a big help. After all, why would anyone want to start their wedded relationship with tons of debt, just because of an
overpriced wedding reception? The good news is, though, that you don’t need to sacrifice the integrity of your
wedding or commitment ceremony just to save money.

In past times it never would have been acceptable to design and print your own
wedding invitations. But now itâ??s actually quite trendy to send out handmade
invitations. If you’re not really the crafty type, you don’t have to be concerned. There are myriad free printable wedding invitations
around that you can download. Not all are that great, quite frankly, but some are actually quite stunning.

You can make them plain or embellish them
with extras, such as glitter, ribbons or three-dimensional embellishments. You can also use the same art to create wedding
reception, “save the date” and thank you cards to stretch your budget even further.
Naturally, this will save you and your beloved (or your parents, if they’re paying) a lot of cash, as wedding invitations
from a printing company can be expensive.
